Having perfect vision is perhaps a dream for someone who has

and from these causes, the techniques and habits that
can be inculcated in order to improve bad vision.

Too much mental stress and focus can actually harm our eyesight and
causes the eyes to be damaged. It forces our eyes to be strained without
us becoming aware of it.

expect the other to be stressed as well. Mental stress can be part of life due to
the demands of work and problems faced everyday but it can also be relieved.

Take charge of your thoughts, feelings, and emotions. Concentrate on positive

Our bad habits can cause the eye to be strained. Bad habits start from
childhood, especially once school starts. These bad habits carry over into
adulthood and cause damage to the eyes. Most of eye problems and ailments
are simply caused by the bad habits learned in our youth.

bad habits, I am going to let you in on a common technique to relax those eyes.
It is called Palming. In order to relax the eyes, you must first relax your mind. If
your mind is running away with thoughts, your eyes will strain to keep up.
First, rub your hands together to get them nice and warm. Next, place one palm
over each eye. Be sure to cup the palms so they are never directly touching the
eyes or putting pressure on the eyelids. Elbows should be resting on a hard
surface. Be sure that your mind and eyes are in the relaxation mode while doing
this. You can this for as long as you want.

The use of glasses and artificial lenses will NOT improve your eyesight. You
probably would have experienced being prescribed to a higher powered lenses
instead of a lower one. This shows that your eyes are getting worse.
The main problem with glasses and artificial lenses is they teach you bad habits
and allow your eyes to work incorrectly. You quickly become dependent on the
lenses and keep your eyes from healing themselves. If you can teach your eyes

Vision Exercise. It is meant to get your eyes to work together as a team. Most
people use one eye to look at an object, while the other eye does its own thing.
Squinting can help bring an object into focus with both eyes, but this causes
stress. The trick is to relax the eyes, focus on the object in a calm way, and allow
both eyes to focus together.

Besides stress, one of the main causes of eye problems such as cataracts is poor
diet, which consist of high cholesterol and carbohydrates intake and low in
vitamins and fruits and vegetables.
Solution:
You can reduce the risk of vision problems by learning to relax the eyes and
eating a more healthy diet. Choose foods that are high in Vitamins A-E and
increase the amount of fruits and vegetables you eat. Try to live a healthy
lifestyle which includes regular exercise, no smoking, and little to no alcohol
consumption.
Exercise is a great way to reduce stress and mental strain. Find the time to
exercise at least every 5-6 days; even a brisk walk around the block is better than
nothing. Take some time for yourself and relax. Lie out in the sun after work and
close your eyes for 10-15 minutes as often as possible. Move things off the ‘to do’
list that can wait and don’t require immediate attention. Learn to say ‘no’ and
try not to take on more than you can handle
