Delta Upsilon is pledging to create a safer campus environment and end sexual assault by strictly enforcing a no tolerance policy for any sexual misconduct within their fraternity. Any violations will result in immediate removal from the fraternity and acceptance of any punishment from the school. They seek to repair Greek life's reputation by treating all students, especially women, with respect and demonstrating that a new era of socially-aware fraternities is beginning.

1. Delta Upsilon’s Pledge
It has become far too common to hear the heartbreaking stories of sexual assault at Cal Poly, and
the men at Delta Upsilon have had enough. We cannot treat this issue lightly anymore and if
Greek life relations with the student body and school administration are to be repaired, it starts
with this. We are all responsible for creating a safer campus. In our fraternity we seek gentlemen
who know how to treat women with the respect they deserve and any actions contradicting with
that mentality with will be dealt with accordingly. We have a strict no tolerance policy in regards
to any sexual misconduct. A violator can expect to be removed from the fraternity and the
chapter will accept any punishment from the school. We have high expectations for our group of
men and we know we are capable of making Cal Poly a safe and thriving environment where
everyone is treated with respect. Sexual assault ends now, and a new era of socially-aware
fraternities begins with Delta Upsilon's pledge.
