I am an Insight Data Engineering Fellow and a PhD candidate at UC Berkeley. At Insight, I developed Origin, a data platform for exploring and identifying thought leaders in new communities. During my PhD I designed novel microscopy hardware and software tools for studying cancer metastasis and immune cell activation. As an undergraduate at Johns Hopkins University, I managed a team that developed a novel stem cell bearing suture for Achilles tendon repair; a product that is on its way to market under BioActive Surgical Inc! Looking forward, I seek opportunities to apply my data engineering and biomedical science background to develop tools that make a positive impact on the world.
