Student Research Award and that your project, “Who Do Parties Recruit? The Case of GOPAC in the
1992 and 1994 Congressional Elections” will be funded in the amount of $2,000.
Your mentor will be responsible for administering the budget according to University policies and
practices and for completing research assurance processes. If you take this award as wages, please be
advised that your financial aid (if applicable) will be reduced by that amount. Please ask the assistant
dean or budget manager to email Jean Miao (miao@oakland.edu) with the fund number for the award
money. Ms. Miao will then transfer the money into that fund.
