Working as an Economist for 3 years in the Ministry of Development Planning and Cooperation has been a challenging and also rewarding experience. My job centers around preparing budgets and work-plans for my Department in the Ministry and monitoring the progress on all work-plan targets. This aspect of monitoring also extends to monitoring the progress of various social protection and poverty reduction programs being implemented by government and stakeholders in various areas.
