9. Women’s and Gender Studies
The goal of the minor is to help and create awareness of the
contributions women have made worldwide.
The curriculum helps to develop a community free of prejudice.
The minor requires 18 to 21 semester hours.
Students must take WGS 10: Introduction and WGS 310: Seminar.
Students must also take 12 to 15 semester hours of electives,
some of which include:

Gender Communication
Human Trafficking
Women and Leadership
