And without controversy great is the mystery of
godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in
the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles,
believed on in the world, received up into glory.

5. III. THE WHERE OF CHRIST’S PERSON
A. Believed on in the world
There is no mention of those reject Him.
B. Received up into glory
•It doesn’t matter how well the Lord was
accepted here.
•What matters is what happened when He
got home.
