Master of Education(M.Ed.) Computer Applications in Education
(Instructional Technology). Developed various computer aided
instructional packages at a research level using specialized
development software, as well as microcomputer analog/digital
links for real-time monitoring of physics experiments. Designed
and constructed automated attendance package and CAN-7/CAN-
8 computer assisted learning packages for medical training and
population studies.

Corporate responsibilities included staff training and motivational
planning, the development of innovative institutional programs for
Canadian universities and boards of education in the area of
computer hardware acquisition, and the development of end-user
training packages and daily administrative duties. Represented the
company as an expert in educational development at major
industry -wide international sessions in Boston, San Francisco and
Paris.
1981-1986 President, Atlantis Microcomputer, Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Responsible for the introduction of the University of Waterloo
Janet networking laboratories to three Halifax area universities
(Dalhousie, Saint Mary’s and The Technical University of Nova
Scotia), planning and development of computer programs and
hardware acquisition with local school boards and educational
planning for Apple Canada as part of the National Dealer Council.

Mount Saint Vincent University, Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Trained teachers in the basics of computer applications software
as it applied to instructional usage in their careers, member of
administrative committee charged with selecting new MIS and
teaching systems, and developed Computer Assisted Instruction
program for teacher education on the DEC minicomputer.

Ontario. Developed and taught in the gifted mathematics program
for exceptional students, including introductory algebra and
geometry for elementary and middle school students. Also
introduced computer and general science to the students.

acceleration experiments for classes with direct link to
microcomputers. Participated in extracurricular activities including
