The biggest contributing factor to poverty is the feeling of rejection illiterate adults feel in a world where even the children read and write. The adults are regarded as inferior and incompetent and are only deserving of contempt and ridicule. Our objective is to bring literacy to these people and allow them the opportunity to determine the fact of their worth and it is not dependant on a lack of skills but rather the person they are within themselves. Society does not define you even if they do not accept you. You determine the worth of yourself.
