• (2) Name or brand name of manufacturer
and country of manufacturer.
• (3) Manufacturer’s marks of identification.

detonators, number of display fireworks etc.).
• (5) description (dynamite [dyn], blasting
agents [ba] and size (length and diameter)

the person from whom the explosives material
was received.

date shift code and/or lot number.
• The system must have an acceptable daily
memory backup capability such as disck or tape.
• The system must be capable of providing a
printout of all records:
• (1) For purposes of inspection by ATF
• (2) When the system memory is purged

in inventory as well as all that were sold during
the period covered, sequentially by date of
acquisition.
• The system must account for all explosives
materials returned.
• The system must record both the manufacturer
and the importer of foreign-made explosives.
• The system must record the names and
addresses of the distributee (buyer) and in the
case of a corporation or other business entity,
its authorized rep or agent.
• The system cannot rely on invoices or other
paper/manual systems (must be self
contained).

• A separate magazine daily summary record is
to be maintained for each magazine. 27 CFR
555.127 requires a licencee or a permittee, not
later than the close of the next business day to
record the following entries by manufactures
name or brand name:
• (a) Total quantity received in and removed
from each magazine during the day.
• (b) Total quantity remaining on hand at the
end of the day.
•All pertinent information relative to the daily
summary of the magazine transactions shall
be made available and provided to an ATF
officer upon request.
•Must report any loss or theft to ATF within
24 hours of discovery.
