Checksindeliveriesof interlibraryloanmaterials.
Downloadsrequestede-bookcollectionsonthe readers.
Providesassistance topatronsonthe use of librarycatalog andcomputerterminalsin
the QuietReadingRoomandthe iLab.
Assistswithcollectionmaintenance(i.e.weedingandshelf readingcollections).
Retrievesandarrangesbookdisplays.
Monitorslibrarydisplays.
Preparesweeklyandmonthlyreportsreflectingquantityandvarietyof workdone.

Duties and Responsibilities
Receives,screensandopenpackagesandotherresourcessenttothe library
Performsoriginal andderivedcataloging forvariouslibraryresources.
Establishesappropriateauthorityheadings(subject,author,series)usingthe Libraryof
CongressAuthorities.
Analyzesbooks,documentsandelectronicresourcesandprovidesubjectkeywords

2. usingthe ADB Thesaurus.
Classifiesbooksusingthe Libraryof CongressClassificationScheme formainlibrary
collectionsandLA CountyLaw LibraryClassificationforlegal resources.
Createsitemrecord,assignscutterand resourcessent printspine label foreachphysical item.
Revises,merges,anddeletesitemandbibliographicrecords,asnecessary.
Releasesbooksforcirculation.
Preparesweeklyandmonthlyreportsreflectingquantityandvarietyof workdone.
Monitorsand update donationlist.
Relievesotherlibrarystaff whenabsentoras required.
