Fire drill information
1. EMERGENCY DRILL INFORMATION:
Every year we should carry out an
Emergency Drill to know what to do when an
emergency takes place.
All of us should know what to do, students, teachers, clerks,
cleaners and other docent personnel.(G.G.T.).
In a Drill, we cannot improvise. (A.A.J.).
We should carry out fire drills, practicing and training to avoid
dangerous situations. (D. G.)
DON’T FORGET THAT:
The School is not going to tell us the date that
they will carry out the drill. (A.J.R.)
The School will warn us a week before the Simulation -we
should not panic-. (A.B.). The Centre will advise us a week
before the date. (A.L.R.).
The evacuation will not last more than 10 minutes and the
school activities will not be interrupted for more than 30
minutes. (A.T.)
You will hear the siren in very short intervals, of 3 seconds of
duration and one second of pause; it will last a minimum of 40
seconds. (E.J.R.).
GET READY TO MOVE:
If you are in the toilets or out of the
classroom, please join closest the group that is leaving.
Now outside, put yourself with your group and report to the
teacher.(J.B.R.).
When you hear the siren, stop what you are doing and keep
calm.
Follow the teacher’s instructions. (L.N.P.).
Do not pick up personal objects, such as backpacks, books,
etc. (avoid being late and falling).(P.D.H.).
1
2. Close the windows, doors, turn off the lights and other
electronic devices. (M.C.A.).
MOVE IN AN ORDERLY FASHION
Leave the classroom in a row and quietly
( briskly and next to the wall).
Don’t bring anything with you. (P.D.H.).
Don’t ever go back and don’t stop. (A.L.R.).
Don’t use the lift. (M.D.C.A.).
Help in all that you are asked: people with difficulties
or those who fall. (A.J.R.).
Outside, you have to put yourself with the group to do
the headcount. (J.A. M.G.).
You must do what your teacher says every time.
(M.N.P.)
In case of sinking or explosion, go near the walls.
If people need to go through smoke, cover your face
with something wet and go crouched at all time.
(J.M.F.C.).
