be critical to the success of your business, safeguarding your goods, ensuring
customer orders are fulfilled and protecting your business reputation and
financial performance. The Association’s Security Requirements are
recognized globally as the industry standard for cargo facility and transport
security. TAPA regularly consults at the highest level of relevant government
departments and with law enforcement agencies to support the requirements
of its members in their campaign to reduce crime. TAPA statistics prove that

industry.
13. Who should attend?
If you are Logistics Operators
As logistics operators, you need to ensure that you meet and exceed the
requirements of your customers and likewise ensure that suppliers involved in
your supply chain processes are aligned as well.
TAPA Standards are now incorporated into most Global, Regional and Local
Contracts, Service Level Agreements and Statements of Work. Your leaders in
Operations, Transport (Air, Ocean, and Land), Logistics, Facilities and Loss
Prevention professionals are the ideal candidates for the FSR and TSR Training
to ensure that the standards are implemented and awareness are cascaded
across your entire organization.
14. Who should attend?
If you are a Trucking Provider, Air Carrier and / or Air Cargo Terminal Operator
Cargo crime is one of the biggest supply chain challenges for manufacturers of
high value, high risk products and their logistics service providers. The Trucking
Security Requirements (TSR) and TAPA Air Cargo Security Standards (TACSS) have
been established by security professionals within the high-tech industry to address
the nature by which high-tech products and materials are transported by road and
air. The TSR and TACSS specifies the minimum acceptable security standards for
assets traveling throughout the supply chain and the methods to be used in
maintaining those standards.
TAPA members need reputable Telematics partners to provide professional &
technically qualified systems to monitor modes of transportation involving high
value targeted theft (HVTT) cargo. Any failure to provide these minimum
specifications could result in the control measures being compromised and
increase the chances of a theft occurring.
15. Who should attend?
If you are Security Service Providers or a Security Management Professional
As a security provider, it is important to be knowledgeable on the security
requirements of your clients, whether they are into manufacturing or as a logistics
/ supply chain provider. Being a trained member of TAPA will align your programs
with those of your clients and shall likewise demonstrate your commitment and
drive towards service excellence. Having the TAPA standards, membership and logo
shall highlight your competitive edge and elevate your professional status in your
industry.
As a security practitioner, TAPA training can form part of your continuing education
and professional advancement even if you are not currently engaged in logistics
and supply chain. These training shall enable you to have better understanding of
the requirements of the industry and serve as your added qualifications and
credentials in the logistics loss prevention profession. You can likewise adapt both
FSR and TSR as best practices in your current security field.
