BSc Industrial Engineering specialized in Electronics (September 2011 – July 2015)
I developed several projects such as a videogame (C++), the configuration of a PLC (Step7) and
a robot that was able to draw (arduino). My bachelor thesis consisted in a mobile App able to
run on any platform (iOS, Android, Windows Phone, Ubuntu Phone…) based on HTML5 that
controlled a home automation system and entertaining functions (YouTube, chat, games,
photos…). This app was designed for people with Alzheimer’s disease and was donated to
Fundación Alzheimer España, the thesis received a qualification of 9.5 over 10.

Fundación Alzheimer España
In 2015, I started working here as an engineer and I still work as a volunteer in Fundación
Alzheimer España. Apart from the development of my degree’s final project (design and
implementation of an App for mobile devices to support people with Alzheimer’s disease), I also
searched and wrote articles about Alzheimer’s disease for their newsfeed and I collaborated as
a guest in their online radio. Finally, I proposed and opened a YouTube channel.
Duration: 2015 – Until now
Mentor and Course Representative in University of South Wales
Mentor: I considered that I was an international student, I thought that being a mentor would
confer me additional experience despite the effort it would entail. Leadership, communication,
and respect and acceptance of other cultures were key elements. The University awarded me
with a certificate of appreciation for performing this role.
Course Representative: I was motivated to understand in more detail how the University worked
and to improve its systems I became the Course Representative of my master’s course. I have
carried out several meetings with the Course Leader, lecturers and other Course Representatives
and Student Voice Representatives.
Duration: September 2015 – September 2016.
About me
Industrial and household electronics has interested me since my childhood: robots, gadgets,
phones, video games or the space race. For this reason I studied BSc Industrial Engineering
specializing in electronics. However, I wanted to expand my knowledge in engineering and
business, so applied for an MSc Engineering Management in the UK, which would also improve
my level of English Professional competition. I chose USW due to its high reception of
international students in order to learn more about other cultures and be able to communicate
with them despite the accent differences. Moreover, I believe in ethical values and Corporate
Social Responsibility. For this reason, I decided to make my bachelor’s mandatory internship in
a charity for people with Alzheimer's disease, developing my final project for them.
