2. Svelte is a taxi start-up we co-founded in Birmingham (UK) that delivers a
refreshing experience for passengers, drivers and taxi companies alike.
We designed and developed a full system that includes the mobile apps for
passengers and drivers (iOS & Android) along with a real-time web dispatching
system, all working seamlessly together. Additionally, we designed all the
marketing materials and landing pages used to promote the business.

4. Spread Ripples
iOS Application
All charities in United Kingdom have
volunteers who go door-to-door in an effort
to collect monthly contributions for the
causes they support. However, completing
paper forms takes too much time, reducing
the number of new potential contributors.
Spread Ripples is a mobile application we
designed and developed to help charities
collect offline donations faster, create an
online presence and connect with their
audience. Supporters of charities can create
real-life ripples by donating time, goods or
funds to support the causes they believe in.
We used the ripples metaphor to inform
the design process and created UIs and
animations closely related to the name of
the app and its purpose.

6. Rant & Rave
Web App
Rant & Rave is a web application
which allows companies to
capture feedback from their
customers right after providing
a service, ensuring the most
accurate data. The platform
collects, analyses and organises
all pieces of feedback received in order to offer valuable insights to companies
regarding their customer experience.
The company organised a contest at Coventry University to explore the potential
future of their product. Our submission included ideas for streamlining the
data search and filtering, getting at-a-glance information on how the company
is performing, study feedback trends over a timeline, receive regional data and
compare everything as easily as possible.
We presented our ideas in the form of a video walk-through that demonstrates
not only the concepts, but specific interactions and animations as well. Our
submission received first prize in the contest mentioned above.

8. iOS Application
Ask for Random Kindness (ArK) allows
users to freely create or review activities
in their area. It helps people who are new
in town to find nearby parties and meet
others, find help with their university
assignments or look for places to volunteer
their time for a good cause.
We launched in Coventry towards the end of
2015 and we had a good growth with initial
users, but we had problems with making
the application stick to users for a longer
period of time. That’s how we ended up with
ArK 2.0 also known as TaskHive – a version
focused exclusively on tasks.

10. TaskHive
iOS Application
TaskHive is an evolution of ArK that focuses
on the outsourcing of daily tasks and their
completion in exchange for rewards.
Trust is an essential factor of a peer-to-peer
application such as TaskHive. This is why we
developed systems to help gain our users’
trust. One such system is the invitation-only
sign up functionality, which ensures only
friends of current users can join in, making
them feel more at ease with spending time
and money within the application. Another
example is requiring taskers for photo IDs
before allowing them to complete any tasks
in exchange for money.
We also created an HTML prototype and
tested it with users, polishing the designs
and interactions after each test.

iOS: Swift, RealmDB
Web: HTML5, CSS3, AWS, Chef, Ruby on Rails API, PostgreSQL, Redis, GIS

12. Pro-bono website
Kyaninga Royale Cottages along
with the Zaki Charity support
Uganda’s homeless orphans
and provide them with food,
medication and education. More
than half the profits made from
renting the cottages go directly to
the Zaki Charity to support the children.
Kyaninga Royale Cottages was in need of a new website to help increase
bookings and create a more professional online presence.
We completed this project as a pro-bono piece of work for Kyaninga Royale
Cottages to support their noble mission. After understanding the main goals of
the project, we worked closely with the client to ensure the new website conveys
the correct message and helps increase the number of bookings. We selected
a CMS platform that the client can use in the future to update their content and
provided a walk-through along with tutorials on how to use the CMS provided.
Aditionally, we convinced the client to commission a photographer to take new,
more professional photos of the cottages and landscape that would help sell
the experience better.

14. WarfareClub
Web App
Warfare Club started from the
passion of one of our friends with
World of Tanks – a popular video
game. It was a niche service,
oriented to the players of World
of Tanks, assembling a collection
of analytical and management
tools used to better understand and have a competitive advantage upon other
players, as well as giving guild owners management tools and help them with
their teams.
Being a service targeted to other players, we made sure the most common
elements from the game were kept – icons, a similar colour scheme, structures,
layouts of information – this got us complement the developers style in a way
in which players could very easily relate to, which led them to be able to use our
system easier than that of our competitors.
At a short period after launching, Wargaming – the developers of World of Tanks
– contacted us with an offer to buy Warfare Club, which we ended up taking.

16. Wedding App
iOS Application
The wedding industry in the United Kingdom
is in full growth, being worth more of 10
billion pounds every year.
Our clients, based in the wedding industry
saw an opportunity with modernising and
making the process more accessible from
anywhere, thus they contracted us to design
and develop an iOS wedding application
consisting of a set of helpful tools for the
grooms and brides to be.
We also developed a web-based control
panel for our clients to be able to update
the default data within the application on
the fly – default tasks, supplier images,
supplier services, supplier information, etc.
Design: Photoshop CC, After Effects for prototyping
iOS: Objective-C, RealmDB
