1. We bridge the gap between
technology and design.

2. 99% of all IT projects suffer from a conflict between programming and design.
No matter how well we plan, misunderstandings and difficulties arise which costs a lot
of unnecessary money. Both relationships and end results suffer.
It applies to apps, websites, digital services and everything related to it.
As an experienced client, you know exactly what we mean.
To achieve a better result with less resources than the competition, we founded
QueensLab on the promise to "bridge the gap between technology and design."
The idea is simple. Some of the world's strongest brands work with processes that
seamlessly integrate engineering, user experience and pure aesthetics in order to
produce the best possible product.
It works. We started to do the same.
Your IT project should not suffer because of
miscommunication.
Expect efficiency and positive attitude.

cleverly bridge the gap:

4. As you know, creativity and fast runners are needed to create unique solutions.
However, to become a long-term partner in development and design at your
level requires maturity and size.
Our customers say we are big enough to compete with the giants, but small
enough so that overhead expenses are manageable. It can certainly be true.
At QueensLab you meet all kinds of people you can imagine. We speak 12
languages, bring in experiences from 5 continents, both genders, LGBTQ+,
we've worked in design and development, but also the army, archeology,
journalism... you name it. HR research shows heterogeneous groups do wonders
for project dynamics and capacity - we are the living proof.
On the recurring question whether we are a digital agency or an IT consultant,
we gladly respond it actually depends on you. What do you need us to be?

On behalf of Raybased, QueensLab built a responsive PWA * with Vue.js
in 2018 to help Raybased real-estate customers monitor their energy
consumption and status.
The project included feasibility study, UX research and interface
design, graphic design, backend and frontend development. The user-
friendly web interface is used today to give real estate owners a clear
overview in real time over water, electricity and energy consumption.

* Progressive Web Apps, abbreviated as PWA, is an intermediary between an app and a regular web
page. PWA combines the functionality of the browser with the benefits of an app. They are used to
deliver a web page that feels as user-friendly and fast as an app. The user visits the website via the
browser as usual and does not need to install an app to get the desirable experience.

8. An effective development team from QueensLab helped Blue
Mobile Systems in 2018 to build the real-time critical GuardTools
system for the European security industry.
QueensLab was specifically responsible for development and
quality assurance of queuing systems with SQL Table
Dependency & Rabbit MQ, but also APIs with associated clients
developed in both Vue, Knockout and with .NET MVC and WPF.
During the project, QueensLab's consultants acted as advisors
on architectural issues.

12. Case / HAPPY AT WORK
Since 2017, QueensLab has been a development partner
for Happy at Work and had full responsibility for the
technology. The collaboration includes responsibility for
technical vision & system architecture, project
management and backend and frontend development.
Happy at Work is developed as a Microservices
architecture in languages such as C #, GoLang & JS on
platforms such as .NET & Vue.js. QueensLab's UX research
and design efforts created a perfectly smooth, user-
friendly experience, which made Happy at Work an award-
winning app.

The world's perhaps smallest e-commerce site
14. Kundcase / One Dear Thing
Marcus and Maria from the company Galantus came to us
with the need to build a tailor-made e-commerce for
international trade, but with only one product, the
measure was sustainable textile. From analysis to
wireframe and on to design and development, we
progressed faster than any other e-commerce project
(3weeks) —we implemented when the deadline for
presentation at a Japanese department store was very
close.
The payment solution became turnkey Stripe, the rest we
built ourselves to get the shop styled just as the customer
wanted.

16. Case / CARPEN
The parking contractor Denis Andersson, who, among other
things, is behind the innovation and payment service SMS-Park,
is in the process of developing more digital solutions for P-
companies. He came to QueensLab with a request for UX, design
and development for the system CARPEN. It is a multi-step
rocket where we digitize and streamline the whole process from
licensing and monitoring to issuing control fees and managing
debt collection.
Forget about analog pockets, yellow patches and complicated
payment. Parking becomes easier for both car park owners and
drivers with the CARPEN.
