1. Perfection
Perfectionisthe state of completenessandflawlessness.“Perfect”wordisusedtodescribe anything
that that “lacksnothing”.Itseemsthatno can be perfectinthislife wholacksnothing. Some saythat,
those people whoenterthe state of perfectiondonotprofesstobe perfect, buttendto be in
perfection.Perfectionisthe individual’sbelief thathe/she mustbe perfecttobe acceptable.Perfection
isthe blackand white,noanygreyarea. Anythingotherthanperfectisfailure.Perfectionisanattitude,
not necessarilyabehavior.Inmyview,noone failsintheirlife bynotbeingperfect.Butstill theytryto
maintainperfectionastheycan.
Is yourexpectationtobe inthe state of perfectionsotrue andrealistic? Are yousatisfiedwith
everythinginyourlife beingabsolutelyperfect?The straightanswerforthe above questionis“No”.
What we expect,nevercomestrue inreality,theyare onlytakenasanimaginationsorsomethingmore
unrealistic.Neitheritistrue nor can we be satisfiedwithwhatwe are gettingsoperfect. We lack
somethingsomewhere. We beardifficultiestomanage ourself andour ownlife forthe sake of
perfection.Evenif we practice more andmore to maintainperfection, however, itisdifficult,we can’t
do it.Therefore we can’tbe perfect.Everypersoninthisworldis“perfectionist”because theystrivefor
perfection.
Perfectionistsare hardonthemselves. The people whostrive forperfectionortryto be perfectinevery
mannerare perfectionists.Theytypicallyhave anunmanageable needtohave absolute control intheir
lives.Whenthingsare inorder,theyfeel sosafe andsecure.Butthe problemisthatnothingstaysinthe
order.Therefore,aperfectionist’sjobisneverdone.
Perfectionistsdonotmeantobe hardon themselvesorothers.Whenperfectionistsdon’tmeantobe
hard on themselvesorothers, theyare able toplease theirlife withperfection.Theyfeel like socalled
‘perfect’itcan onlybe excellence.Theycanonlybe excellentbutnevertobe perfectbecause
somewhere theylack.
So,no one is 100% neithercanbe.People runafterperfection,theyneed100% perfectlife.Although,
theyknowthat securing100% in perfectionisdifficultandhard, theytryto do so.But theyare not
supposedtodeal withitbecause itisnot possible.However,aperfectioniststriessome sortsof
perfection,itisnotperfect.
