2. OBJECTIVE AND CONTEXT
Focus groups are a valuable tool to gain in-depth
understanding of current and unfolding phenomena, such as
natural products continued to provide key scaffolds for drug
development. For every compound that does make it to the
market, a better drug with distinct Medicinal chemistry,
improved bioavailability and less unwanted side effects can be
found.
UTILITY OF THE PROJECT
Pharmacognosy aims to discover unique bioactive
chemical structures with drug potential, and to reveal unknown
targets. Bioactive natural projects have potential as
pharmacological tools for drug development. Research
represents a modernization and renewal of a venerable proven
science, without losing the traditions in the field.
BENEFIT OF THE FACULTY
The interdisciplinary natural product of the subject is
explained in the model, where the starting point is an
observation of an organism showing an interesting biological
activity. The correlation between the chemical structures
responsible for the shown bioactivity needs to be studied to
understand the observation on a molecular level using both in
vivo, in vitro and in silico methods. The pharma market demand
for advanced qualifications will lead to higher education as
compulsory education with the emphasis on quality assurance;

Natural product opening statement was that pharmacy
college are organized on the basis of a range of different models,
with different owners and governing bodies, different financiers
and management systems. The same applies to the
categorization into different branches of pharmacy, genres,
disciplines or departments, and to organized collaboration with
other pharmacy and forms of art. In light of the changes already
