5. Why Hydropads™ Versus Concrete Construction
A wash pad that can be placed on any compacted surface
In Most Cases:
No Construction
No Architecture
No Permitting
No Delays
Replaces the need for a cement wash pad
Won’t crack like a cement wash pad
Safer than a cement wash pad. Oils and solid contaminants flow from the work area.
Can handle the weight of an Ultra Class machine
Ships in a container, Transports on a flatbed
Manufactured under strict tolerances and shipped to the jobsite to be assembled. Bolt together
Sustainable: Re-locatable in the event mining operations move or mine site is depleted. No monument is left
behind.
6. How Does A Hydropad™ Work
It’s simple! As you wash vehicles or equipment, dirt, dirty water, soap and oils fall to the solid top surface of the
Hydropad. Everything that falls onto the Hydropad first flows into channels just below the standing area. These
channels then take fluids and debris into a side gutter.
Because , dirt, dirty water, soap and oils flow off the Hydropad via channels, this provides a much safer non skid
walking surface than any solid flat surface could. The Hydropad solid top is coated with an abrasive non skid surface.
There are many gutter configurations designed to assist in the removal of solids that have reached the gutter. These
range from manual removal to fully automatic.
• Hand shovel gutters
• Gutter flushing into drive in clean out trays
• Drag conveyors in the gutter

12. Hydro Biodigesters
Wastewater filtration systems generally cannot remove odors present in processed or filtered water. Decomposition of matter by naturally
occurring
bacteria and/or chemical reactions will release gases (H2S) to the atmosphere that have a very offensive smell .Hydro Engineering’s
Hydro Biodigesters (HBD) is the answer to control of odor in waste water.
In compliment to Hydro Engineering’s superior filtration products, our Hydro- Biodigesters (HBD) product eliminates industrial wastewater
odors by out competing the natural occurring bacteria.
Biodigesters (affectionately referred to as “bugs”) are a combination of all natural bacteria, lab grade purified enzymes with micro and macro
nutrients. HBD bacteria and enzymes are targeted to the food sources available in a wastewater treatment system. By out competing the
natural occurring bacteria for the food sources, odor causing bacteria die off and thus the objectionable smell is eliminated.
Biodigesters are so prolific they multiply by double every 15-20 minutes. Start out with one cell in fifteen minutes you have two and so on. In 8
hours you have 17-million and in twenty-four hours you have a 1 with one hundred and twenty six zeros behind it. They simply out number any
existing bacteria.
Suspension liquid enables programmable dosing
Safe to use. All Hydro-Biodigester products are guaranteed pathogen free; every batch is checked for it's purity. Our bacterial strains are Not
Genetically Engineered , they are all naturally occurring strains. They are FDA and GRAS listed as safe
Benefits Ozone and Corrosives Don’t Provide:
Ozone, chlorine and hydrogen peroxide do nothing to aid the wastewater treatment system. HBD’s breakdown and consumption of
contaminants such as organic matter, oils, grease and other hydrocarbons like dissolved solvents, heavy and light fuels are an added side
benefit to using our product.
They propagate the sumps bottom solids reducing them and liberating oils and grease. In most cases making the sludge removal process non-
hazardous, eliminating waste hauling fees. Our bacteria take up residence in the entire system constantly eating it clean, media filter changes
are reduced, coalescing plates are kept clean, pipes and valves don’t plug up.
Hydro-Biodigesters enzymes and microorganisms work in concert to digest long chain hydrocarbons, light fuels, sludge, grease and any
decomposing organic matter. The result is a significant reduction of BOD/COD and TSS. The byproducts produced from this biological
transformation are absolutely harmless and “stink” free – only carbon dioxide and water remain.
13. Hydrosite
The Hydrosite Enclosure is a portable, transportable, insulated, Environmentally Controlled
Equipment Enclosure specially designed to contain, support and protect equipment used for
high‐pressure hot water/cold water decontamination, wastewater pre‐treatment, wastewater
filtration/polishing, associated equipment, and commodities

17. Solids Removal System
Once the mud, dirt and other contaminants are washed from the equipment and flow from the top deck
of the Hydropad to the side gutter a number of options are available.
In Gutter Conveyor System
In Ground Solid Settling Tank with Automatic Drag Conveyor
Above Ground Drive in Clean out Tray
Above Ground Multiple Weir Solid Settling Tank
SST Solid Settling Tank as part of your filtration system
When selecting a solids removal system we need to consider the amount of solids and contaminants
Collected along with the water volume generated by the wash system.
On a scale of 1 to 5 how will you rate the amount of solids being collected? 1 being the least?
