o Participate in RF cage & then MRI installation (eight Achieva 1.5 Tesla,one
Achieva 3 T, one Panorama HFO 1 T) in many sites with South African
engineers mainly in (Aom EL Masreien Hosp. , EL Mustafa Radiology Center ,
Nile Scan , Kobry EL Koba Military Hosp. , Port saeid Military Hosp. , kafr EL
Sheikh Military Hosp. , Osama Ganam Radiology Center , Sayed Galal Azher
University Hosp. , International Medical Center).
1. My job was providing the local materials (which necessary for the
installation like distilled water, cable ties …etc), AutoCAD drawing
papers, tools.
2. My role was Connection between RF cage team and MRI installation
team (the South African engineers).
3. Connection between Philips MRI engineers and the installation team to
clear any problems (like name of each account and his password).
4. Provide communication between installation teams and chillers team if
there were any problems about water pressure, flow or temperature.
5. Provide communication between installation team and printer's team
(AE Title, Host name, IP Address, Port No.).
6. This beside my basic role in the MRI installations itself specially in
cables routing ,mechanical installations , electrical
installations(power on, ramp up ,shimming , ...etc.)
7. Arrangement with the installation team to adjust our schedule with
their especially about time of each tool to be provided.
8. The communication Language with project stuff (contractors,
technicians, third party guys, even the hospital employees) is very
important as it can build the trust or break it down.
o I participate also in x-ray projects (installation of Bucky diagnost, upgrade in
urodiagnost and moving of duediagnost from room to other).
o Beside project management assistance, I participate also in providing
preventive and corrective maintenance as well as measurements and
calibrations in following modalities (X-ray, Cath-Lab, Computed tomography,
Magnetic Resonance Imaging) doing the following (early problem diagnosing
and solving it if possible, spare parts ordering and then mount it, schedule
preventive maintenance and assist in long corrective maintenance
processes [like deicing in MRI, X-ray tubes& generators replacements] ).
o Helium liquid refilling in closed systems (Achieva, Intera) modalities and
those open system cooling by Helium (Panorama HFO 1T, Panorama 0.6T)
