Human Rights Basics II Training Course. (November 15-18, 2008)
This training course, conducted in Arabic, completes the IHRLOP Basic
Human Rights training offered. Human Rights Basic II topics included:
University or Rights; Violence Based on Gender; Globally Terror, Security
and Emergency laws; Academic Freedoms and Responsibilities; the African
Human Rights system, NGOs – establishment, management and proposal
writing; as well as skills units in Team Building and Culture of Volunteering.
The training included emphasis on Human Rights in Egypt. International
Human Rights Law Outreach Program, School of Continuing Education, the
American University in Cairo, Egypt.
Human Rights Basics Training Course. (March 16-19, 2008)
This training course, conducted in Arabic, is designed to provide basic
knowledge training in human rights. Topics included :Introduction to the
International Human Rights Law, the Role of NGOs, NGOs, National
Institutions, advanced Internet searching and Human Rights Education. The
training included emphasis on Human Rights in Egypt. International Human
Rights Law Outreach Program, School of Continuing Education, the American
University in Cairo, Egypt.
