Goal: to perform the hard task of finding easy solutions for hard problems. Rinse and repeat. My approach to software isn't just to write a program to solve the problem at hand, but to write tools that solve the whole family of problems that are just like the one at hand. This has led me to successfully put into practice techniques like functional programming and embedded domain specific languages.
