1. Budgeting
We are attempting to create a believable horror teaser
trailer on a low budget, meaning that there will be limited
effects, but more cheap scares such as loud noises,
slamming doors etc. This means that there will not be any
need to pay for any special effects.
We will be purchasing torches to use as props and to use
during the dark shots in the forest. We will spend a
maximum of £20 on these props, depending on the
quality. We will also have a back up of the torch on our
phones, which may not look as effective but will be less
costly.
As we are travelling around Hertfordshire for our different
locations, so we will need to cover the cost of petrol. We
will need £30 to cover the distances between Cold
Christmas and the Cuffley woods that we will be using.
This will also be a back up for other journeys that we may
need to use for improvement shots.
We are using our every day clothes to create believable
characters rather than characters that are obviously being
played by Hollywood actors. There will be a use of a tent
though one of us already has one, so we will not be likely
to need a different one.
