To Whom It May Concern,
I had the privilege of working with Lowrie Robertson during the 2009-2010 school
year at Kennett High School in North Conway, NH. Lowrie filled a need we had for a
part time Guitar I teacher. Although I did not have the opportunity to observe Mr.
Robertson in the classroom, I can attest to the fact that his students were well
prepared for Guitar II. As the fulltime music teacher, I know the challenge of
teaching a wide variety of student talents and interests can sometimes interfere
with adequately preparing students. Mr. Robertson was certainly successful.
Unfortunately, the position was eliminated due to budget cuts.
As a colleague, Lowrie was always respectful, helpful, and involved. His calm
demeanor and professionalism was much appreciated. He willingly shared the
teaching tools he created and engaged in professional conversations and
development. He participated in staff meetings and district-wide initiatives event
though he was only part-time. Mr. Robertson knows the importance of being a
member of the educational community.
It is for these reasons I recommend Mr. Lowrie Robertson without hesitation. Please
contact me over the summer by using my cell phone number, 603-662-8790 or I can
be reached by contacting Kennett High School.
Sincerely,
Dr. Therese M. Davison
