To whom it may concern,
I had the pleasure of supervising Ms. Lorna Rynhoud during her work placement in the Bacchus
fine-dining restaurant at Rydges South Bank Hotel.
Lorna worked as Food & Beverage Attendant with me for a period of six months, commencing in
December 2014 and finishing in June 2015. Lorna has been a great and proactive waitress, giving
her best every night in our fine-dining restaurant 5 nights a week.
Throughout her time at the Hotel, Lorna was of great assistance to me. I found her to be a reliable,
polite, friendly and intelligent person. Lorna completed any given task promptly and with
enthusiasm, and the work she produced was always of high quality, what was very important for the
prestige of our venue. She accepted feedback graciously and was confident to ask questions when
uncertain.
During her placement Lorna completed a wide range of tasks including: “mise en place” of the Food
runner section, leading the food runners team (3 staff member), organising the Back of house work
with her team-workers, greeting and serving customers with the Etiquettes Standard of our
restaurant, being in charge of a section (20 guests), checking her tables with the attention of details
required in Bacchus, making sure that every part of the sequence of service were perfectly respect.
Lorna always received some amazing feedback from our patrons and as well from the owner of our
restaurant.
I would highly recommend her for any suitable role and regret that I do not have a position here to
offer her, as I believe she will be a great asset to any organisation.
