In New York painter Ellen Lanyon died on October 7, 2013, at the age of 86.Lanyon was born
in Chicago in 1926, 1926, get a bachelor's degree in art from the art institute of Chicago,
university of Iowa in the United States in 1950 to obtain a master's degree in art.Her work is
