Family Art Gallery
Ask an adult to help you find 4–5 works of art from your
house. You can use family photos, a special toy from
your room, and even something you have made!
Arrange all of the art in the order you
would want your gallery
visitors to see them.
Invite your family and friends to visit your art
gallery. You can explain why you chose to show
the artworks you did, and why you think
they are important!
On each piece of paper write the artist’s name,
the title of the artwork, what it is made of, and
how much it would cost to buy, if it’s for sale.
Place one piece of paper by each artwork.
These will be the labels for your artwork.
LET’S CREATE AN ART
GALLERY AT HOME!
Galleries are places that display art which
you can sometimes buy. If you owned
your own gallery, what kind of art would
you display? Would you sell it to other
people? Who would you invite to come
to your gallery? What would they want to
know about the artwork?
MATERIALS:
4–5 works of art from your house
1 small piece of paper for each artwork
Marker, pen, or pencil
