Flexible Comedian: Jonathan Burns
MOUNT PLEASANT, Michigan - Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016- On Wednesday, Feb. 3,
2016, CMU Program Board is proud to host Jonathan Burns, a flexible comedian and
contortionist at 7 p.m. in the UC Rotunda. Burns will use his gifts of flexibility, curiosity,
and goofiness to entertain the students and community of Central Michigan University.
Burns, 30-years-old, from Johnstown, PA, always knew that he was special. He was the
child who would put his leg over his head in gym class, and get the dance party started at
any get-together. He began performing his tricks and “powers” throughout middle school
and high school, and then took his talents further in college.
Graduating from college in 2004 with a degree in Art Education, his talents have taken
him to over 300 college campuses across the United States, and to special events in 9
different countries around the world. He has also performed on The Jay Leno Show &
The Late Show with David Letterman.
CMU Program Board is excited to bring Jonathan Burns to Central’s campus for an
evening of laughs.
