2. PHOTO DECONTAMINATION
UV decontamination system provides turbid (opaque)
liquid photo purification using eco-friendly, ultraviolet
(UV-C) technology. This process combines UV-C light
with the turbulence that ensures every single part of the
liquid or product receives a dosage of UV-C. The
microbiological inactivation efficiency of our
technology has been tried and tested on a broad range of
translucent, turbid and opaque liquids.
3. The direct, selective and efficient transfer of UV-C
energy to microbial DNA limits side effects on

This entire process of photo-decontamination does not
affect the liquid’s nutritional, sensorial or marketing
attributes
The system emits UV-C with a germicidal wavelength
of 254nm.
This neutralizes any microorganisms, including
pathogens
4. The UV-C dosage depends on the product being
treated and is controlled by the irradiance and exposure
time.
This wavelength is specifically absorbed by DNA
molecules, causing the formation of a DNA adduct
(covalent modifications of the DNA). In the DNA
molecules of the microorganisms, these adducts can
prevent them to divide and grow, inducing cell death.
Our product capacity is flexible and can be adapted to

the dosage needed and capacities.
