2. What it’s about My game, Ultionis (Revenge in Latin*) is a game where you solve math problems/ riddles to advance in the story. Getting 3 questions wrong will “kill” you, and you will have to start back in the beginning. The main character, David, is a farmer who’s father is kidnapped and goes to the castle/town to try to find out who took him. It is during the Hundred Years War and Black Death. *Yea, reminds you of someone else’s project, doesn't it?
3. Program I’ve decided to use Python 3.2* as my program. It is has been used on computer game AI such as Civilization. The program is very easy to understand and to learn, and they have an official website-http://www.python.org/ for updates, downloads, and more. *Sorry, I couldn’t find a way to download Java for free. Well, the type of Java I need( the script type).
4. Progress I have tried to start my program, but unfortunately I’m still on the title*…however, I’ve finished my “story map” and I will begin to program it by next year. Depending on how long I take, I might finish half of it to all of it. I have started to tinker with the program, doing simple operations, variables, and the like. *Sorry for the slow progress, but it took forever for me to realize that a) Java “expires” and b) To find another easy programming language.
5. Intro* A dark, hooded horseman rides on the road during the midnight. He stops in front of a hut. The man gets down, and knocks on the door. An old man appears at the door. “Who’s there?” The hooded man looks around for a second, then places a bag over the old man’s head and quickly ties him up. Another man appears down the road. “Give him to me,” the man says. He then ties up the man to the horse and gives they both speed down the road with him. *This is the beginning intro part of my program. It will be mostly this text, and maybe a few pictures if I can import them…
7. Screen Shot, cont.* That was a screenshot of what Python 3.2. If you stare close enough, you can see the simple math (7-2, 6+9) and the answer. At the top, you can see the green words. They are in the “Print” command, and can be seen when an action happens. The red words cannot be seen, unless someone dissects the game**. The “SyntaxError” shows when a command is typed wrong or an error (as you can see here I forgot to put a subtraction sign). Example- >>>(Input command here) Output
