❏ INTRODUCTION
Mergers and Acquisition(M&A) refers to business
entities which either consolidate or takeover other
entities with view of capturing broader market shares .
HISTORY OF MERGERS AND ACQUISITIONS
As modern day economies tend to change rapidly thus it was necessary to use a
business tool that can help others small business to cope up the uncertain
conditions,M&A have provided companies greater deals to carry out their
operations smoothly.Legal Provisions related to mergers and acquisition have
been provided in COMPANIES ACT 2013(recently amended).The major aim of
bringing the provisions of Merger and Acquisition was to solve the problem of
lack of legal data and framework.

3. Searching of Target
4. Argumentative Planning
5. Valuing
6. Negotiation
7. Due Diligence
8. Purchase and Sale Contract
9. Financing
10. Implementation
Merger and Aquisitions are ongoing business tools in current economic
scenario as starting accompany ,establishing a new business base or to
grow existing business requires alot of capital alone and efforts so
through mergers and acquisitions a company can easily reach out global
market and expand their business as well. Due to current situation going
around in business and corporate field there is need to write upon this
topic so that it makes other people aware about the same in simple
manner.

CONCLUSION
★ Mergers and Acquisitions in present and as well as in future also has a
wider scope in corporate industries.They have proved to be a great
business tools in expanding business and cutting down the cost.Thus
much more initiative should be taken to spread awareness about M&A in
Indian economy for substantial growth of Corporate Industries.
