I would like to express my gratitude to the team at Arctic Co-operatives Ltd, particularly Kurt
Santos, for working with CBC/Radio-Canada to help us ship electronic waste from Rankin Inlet
to Montreal for recycling purposes.
Working with your team allowed us to meet our corporate commitment to protect and preserve
the environment. We strive to conduct our activities in an environmentally responsible manner
and in accordance with the principles set out by our Environmental Policy. One way we do this is
through the implementation of our Canada-wide electronic waste (e-waste) recycling program.
It was a pleasure to work with an organization like Arctic Co-ops who shares a similar vision,
supporting environmentally responsible behaviours and recognizes the importance of minimizing
pollution to our shared environment.
