A New York psychiatrist who has assisted those living with sexual trauma, Prof. Koock Jung, MD, held certification with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology for nearly four decades. A founding fellow of the Pacific Rim College of Psychiatrists, Dr. Koock Jung has authored Sexual Trauma: A Challenge Not Insanity, which provides a revolutionary perspective on the treatment and effects of sexual trauma. In his book, Dr. Jung explores both the ways in which people have moved beyond sexual trauma to transformative human achievements, and how current therapy trends may not be beneficial to victims.
