The AEJ is a reputable publishing platform for African evaluators and the submission presents an opportunity to participate in Africa’s contribution to the 2015 Year of Evaluation.

The African Evaluation Journal (AEJ), the official Journal for the African Evaluation Association
(AfrEA), is calling authors to submit articles for the special AEJ “Health Evaluations in Africa” edition.
The AEJ is a reputable publishing platform for African evaluators and the submission presents an
opportunity to participate in Africa’s contribution to the 2015 Year of Evaluation.
AEJ is looking for high quality articles that:
• focus on evaluations in the Health Sector in Africa,
• have at least one author must be an African national or based in Africa,
• are written in English or French.
Priority will be given to health evaluations contributing to or involving:
• policy development or policy change,
• health system strengthening, and/or
• integration of the health sector with other sectors.

Article Submission Form (incomplete forms will not be considered). After completion, press
“SUBMIT” at the bottom of the form. Article Submission Forms and full articles must be submitted
by 23 February 2015. Late submissions will not be considered. Submission of articles and submission
forms that fit the above criteria will not be assured inclusion in the journal. All articles will go
through a rigorous selection process. Those that are selected will be informed by the first week of
March 2015. Thereafter, they will be required to work with peer-reviewers and editors within the
designated time frame to produce a high quality article suitable for publishing. Chosen authors will
be mentored through the editing and publication process. Information on AEJ can be found at
