3. OUR APPROACH AND METHODOLOGY
3.1 Integrated Methodology
Our methodology is built on the integration of various critical components of delivery for our clients starting
with an ‘as-is’ analysis which is followed by the crafting and implementation of bespoke solutions.
3.2 Status Quo Analysis
Our Status Quo Analysis (As-Is Analysis) is meant to identify and confirm client challenges, issues, needs,
gaps, process inefficiencies, and various barriers to improved performance and effectiveness. Depending on
the specific circumstances, we deploy a wide range of tools and techniques to accurately measure the
magnitude and impact of the issues and challenges that the client faces. We iteratively engage with the client
to unmask the salient cause-effect relationships and to zoom in on the 20% of the factors accounting for 80%
of the client’s challenges.
3.3 Solutions Crafting
A detailed understanding of the client’s needs, gaps and operational challenges informs the work of the
Solutions Crafting stage. In this step, NGWANE IT brings to bear the multi-disciplinary expertise, experience,
innovation and creativity of its team to identify solution options for and with the client. In many circumstances,
even as comprehensive solutions are being developed and tested, it is possible to implement ‘quick-wins’
where some benefits are immediately realized as the engagement proceeds. These early results and benefits
do not only begin to resolve some of the gaps and challenges observed, but also enable the Project Team to
merchandize the entire project intervention. Once solution options are identified, they are costed and
prioritized for executive approval prior to implementation.
3.4 Implementation
Approved solutions and interventions are subjected to further detailed planning with clear milestones,
deliverables, budgets and timelines. The Implementation Planning discipline that NGWANE IT adheres to
includes risk analysis and management, stakeholder role definition and clarification as well as the specification
