Nathan tells David a parable about a rich man who takes a poor man's only lamb to feed a traveler, rather than taking from his own flock. This parable leads David to confess his sins of taking Bathsheba and having her husband killed. Later, Jesus travels through cities and villages preaching with his twelve disciples. He is accompanied and supported by certain women who had been healed, including Mary Magdalene who was possessed by seven demons, as well as Joanna and Susanna and others who used their own resources to provide for Jesus and his ministry.
