I monitor a fairly large network ofservers and computers, making sure that all essential systems areup and
running at all times. Most ofmy work outside ofday to day maintenance has involved adding support for
Infiniband, OFED, and SCST, specifically for Mellanox networking cards, to existing open source operating
systems.This involves heavy shell command line and scripting.

Worked with a small team to createmodules for a simple way for companies to fill out their tobacco tax
forms. We were provided with CSV files filled with relevant company data and created modules using both
Python scripts and XML layouts to translatethat data onto the required forms quickly and easily. I also
worked individually on creating a prototypesimulation framework for emergencyresponseteams using
Java as part ofa proposal for a potential customer.

Worked with a team to develop an HR analytics application for a real customer that applied machine
learning and statistical inferencemechanisms to mine existing customer company data in orderto find and
highlight previously hidden actionableinformation. This application was developed in Java using plugins
for MySQL database and WEKA (a library for machinelearning algorithms used for data mining tasks).
