1. NORDIC|SCANDINAVIAN
• Clean lines, light and airy; bring a touch of Scandinavia to your home by transforming it into a
white and wooden cabin haven!
• This look is great for those who want a minimalistic style that is easy to update
• Sleek modern shapes and warm wood textures enhance the interior design and create a
stunning and sophisticated style the Scandinavians would be proud of.
• Go for cool, crisp, colours: cool, crisp whites and slate grey for a mix up on the traditional
monochrome black and white hues
• Inject some colour with a bold cobalt blue and contrasting canary yellow esque vibe that will
instantly give that Nordic touch.
• Use of Hobby Craft’s large paper Mache reindeer head and decoupage with decorative papers,
or spray paint in a glossy colour to make a for a statement piece as well as an accessory.
• Pick out some staple furniture pieces
• The kitchen is the perfect room to add some Nordic glamour so think modern and keep it
simple with dark grey slate and marble and lots of birch and oak wood to complement the
other colours and materials.
• Knitted throws: look for piling on the knits; luxurious throws . Choose a duck egg blue or soft
grey to be bang on trend and add some furry cushions for that authentic style

2. YOUTHFUL PASTELS
• Ice cream colours have been a big hit on the catwalk with soft greens, ice blues and
lavender hues making Mint green, pale soft blues, pale yellow
• Natural Palette – Beach Inspired Decor
• Natural tones and textures are this season’s next big trend and are set to be last into
the autumn
• The latest colour palette includes dewy nude pinks, caramel browns and off whites for
classic shabby chic.
• Home ware trends are taking inspiration from nature with the beach making top of the
list.
• Accessories and textiles are filled with seaside style ,collections showing stunning
ranges of driftwood styles and beautiful message in a bottle designs.
• The walls simple, but this doesn’t mean that pattern is off limits!
• Feature, nature inspired, wallpaper in soft duck egg blue or mint green is a great way
off adding a new colour and print but without going overboard.
• Hearts and birds are key for adding a romantic touch to this trend and decorations look
cute hung from door handles.
• Shabby chic hearts are everywhere creating a kitsch look to your home and birds and
birdcages are always a winner for a cute vintage style.
• Lighting is important to create a peaceful atmosphere; tea light candles and fairy lights
add warmth to the room and choose designs in rich gold's for an accent colour that
exudes sophistication.
• Africa is also a hotspot for home wares, so bring a touch of the African outdoors into
your home .
• Animal prints are a great way of sprucing up your home in style but keeping it simple.
• Rich chocolate browns and khaki greens are the colours of the moment and look great
when teamed with dark woods and leathers for luxurious feel to a room.

3. INDIGO FANTASY
• Named Dulux Colour of the Year 2013, Indigo is the new colour you can quite literally live in.
• Indigo is a staple colour to brighten up your life, with confident sophistication.
• A warm blue hue with a purple hint, it is a soothing yet strong colour statement that both
relaxes and excites.
• Pair with soft whites and greys in the home, using carefully chosen accessories to create a pop
of colour.
• Bold prints in ethnic styles add a Mediterranean feel
• Compliment with a warm orange for your own slice of paradise.

4. MONOCHROME MEETS TRIBAL
• Monochrome Meets Tribal
• This trend sees a marriage of the simple geometric and the tribal ikat to make a new cutting
edge look with black and white patterns.
• Tribal influences continue to flourish, and simple pattern is key but when blending these two
themes together something new and exciting emerges!
• Variety of different patterns can be used together in a variety of mixed grey and black hues

5. THE OMBRE TREND
• For the brave, bold pinks and blues popped up, with others playing it safer
with soft caramel and blonde tones or for the dedicated fashionistas amongst
us, experimenting with multiple colours.
• Sporting dip dye looks to perfection.
• Bland walls can be transformed with the blending of two colours with bright
lime yellows, turquoises and hot pinks against warmer taupe and vanilla
shades.
• The look can be used fearlessly on furniture and walls for a wow effect or in
more subtle ways with soft furnishings as many curtains and cushions are
sporting ombré hues at the moment.
• For a touch of the ombré you can include a few key items to liven up the
décor with bright contrasting colours, or explore different gradients of one
colour for a more understated nod to the trend.

6. GEISHA GIRL
• Oriental inspired décor.
• Think rich colours, bold prints and elegant styles as this summer Geisha style is hot off the
catwalk and straight into home ware.
• Geishas are infamously known for wearing beautiful silk kimonos and hosting tea drinking
events as well as having a range of hidden talents.
• Well now is your chance to be an honouree Geisha as the oriental trend is big this season
• Add a romantic touch Florals and bird prints are a big part of this trend and for a delicate and
romantic touch, use warm, soft pastel shades of blue and lilac on the walls and furniture.
• Wallpaper is a great as well, look out for bird and butterfly motifs and blossom patterns in
light shades for a feature wall or cover a canvas with wallpaper for a unique piece of art
work.
• Add drama with bold purple and magenta hues, contrasted with regal teals and gold's.
Choose striking patterned textiles and accessories and go glam with a look fit for an Emperor.

mysterious eclectic look.

7. BOTANICALS HOME
• Introduction of fresh blooms and leafy greens as the ‘Botanical Trend’ makes an impact on
interior design.
• Plant and nature inspired home ware prints reminiscent of the 1950’s is a fun and feminine
trend that keeps recurring and this year it is more prominent than ever.
• Beautiful florals can be seen on our walls, upholstering and even flooring.
• However unlike the 1970s and 80s were big florals could be seen throughout the home; this
S/S smaller, more delicate flowers are used carefully to add a burst of natures finest against a
plain background.
• Trend shown on a vibrant way to introduce a blend of print, pattern, textures and colour into
the home.
• This trend is all about creating a light and airy feeling with statement prints against a white
wall and really adding character to the home.
• Organic greens, fresh limes and soft pastels make up a popular palette of colours as well as
soft tones of watercolour blues, pinks and yellow.
• Set to be the most popular interior trend this year.
• Working beautifully alongside striking prints for bedding, cushions and accessories a lot of
hand embroidery can be seen to add a luxurious finish.

THE OMBRE TREND • For the brave, bold pinks and blues popped up, with others playing it safer with soft caramel and blonde tones or for the dedicated fashionistas amongst us, experimenting with multiple colours. • Sporting dip dye looks to perfection. • Bland walls can be transformed with the blending of two colours with bright lime yellows, turquoises and hot pinks against warmer taupe and vanilla shades. • The look can be used fearlessly on furniture and walls for a wow effect or in more subtle ways with soft furnishings as many curtains and cushions are sporting ombré hues at the moment. • For a touch of the ombré you can include a few key items to liven up the décor with bright contrasting colours, or explore different gradients of one colour for a more understated nod to the trend. GEISHA GIRL • Oriental inspired décor. • Think rich colours, bold prints and elegant styles as this summer Geisha style is hot off the catwalk and straight into home ware. • Geishas are infamously known for wearing beautiful silk kimonos and hosting tea drinking events as well as having a range of hidden talents. • Well now is your chance to be an honouree Geisha as the oriental trend is big this season • Add a romantic touch Florals and bird prints are a big part of this trend and for a delicate and romantic touch, use warm, soft pastel shades of blue and lilac on the walls and furniture. • Wallpaper is a great as well, look out for bird and butterfly motifs and blossom patterns in light shades for a feature wall or cover a canvas with wallpaper for a unique piece of art work. • Add drama with bold purple and magenta hues, contrasted with regal teals and gold's. Choose striking patterned textiles and accessories and go glam with a look fit for an Emperor. • Compliment rooms with Geisha print cushions and opulent silk and velvet fabrics for a mysterious eclectic look. • Lighting is a key part of this trend. BOTANICALS HOME • Introduction of fresh blooms and leafy greens as the ‘Botanical Trend’ makes an impact on interior design. • Plant and nature inspired home ware prints reminiscent of the 1950’s is a fun and feminine trend that keeps recurring and this year it is more prominent than ever. • Beautiful florals can be seen on our walls, upholstering and even flooring. • However unlike the 1970s and 80s were big florals could be seen throughout the home; this S/S smaller, more delicate flowers are used carefully to add a burst of natures finest against a plain background. • Trend shown on a vibrant way to introduce a blend of print, pattern, textures and colour into the home. • This trend is all about creating a light and airy feeling with statement prints against a white wall and really adding character to the home. • Organic greens, fresh limes and soft pastels make up a popular palette of colours as well as soft tones of watercolour blues, pinks and yellow. • Set to be the most popular interior trend this year. • Working beautifully alongside striking prints for bedding, cushions and accessories a lot of hand embroidery can be seen to add a luxurious finish.
