dressing, bathing, ambulation, activities

I SPECIAL FEATURES: 6 neighborhood
settings. Each neighborhood features a
dining room, living room, and 11 suites.
The Meadows also boasts of a courtyard
patio, a fire pit, veranda and an on-site
Chapel.

2. Energizing our mission
Gifts to the Foundation breathe life into its mission,
strengthening the commitment to provide high
quality, compassionate care in environments that
are comfortable, safe and aesthetically pleasing.
Gifts to the Foundation may be applied where the
need is greatest, or specifically designated to one
of the following:
THE BENEDICTINE CARE PROGRAM: Assists residents
who face financial challenges to pay for services.
SPECIAL BUILDING PROJECTS: Enable renovation
and expansion of facilities. Past projects included
expansion of skilled nursing care, creation of a
chapel/multipurpose room at the Meadows,
and construction of the T. Emil Gauthier Memory
Care Center at Madonna Towers.
EQUIPMENT FUNDS NOT COVERED BY THE BUDGET:
Enhance the lives of residents in practical ways.
Low vision magnifier reading devices, specialized
mattresses, and laptop computers were made
possible with generous philanthropic gifts. A
current project is a wheelchair accessible van.
DOLLARS FOR NEW PROGRAMS AND SERVICES:
Invigorate the lives of residents by expanding
opportunities for socialization, creativity,
recreation and cultural experiences. A future
project to enhance community living for
residents, employees and the surrounding

MADONNA LIVING COMMUNITY is a non-profit
health care organization providing independent
living, skilled nursing, assisted living, memory care,
home health care services, and rehabilitation
therapy through Madonna Towers and Madonna
Meadows.
MADONNA LIVING COMMUNITY’S shared mission is
to provide a spectrum of high quality services in a
compassionate environment designed to enhance
the human dignity and worth of its residents.
The two facilities are part of the Benedictine
Health System, 39 participating organizations and
50 individual facilities; including hospitals, nursing
homes, independent living, and assisted-living
facilities in seven states.
Our Foundation
MADONNA LIVING COMMUNITY FOUNDATION
Madonna Living Community Foundation was
established in 1995 as a separate 501 (c) (3)
organization. It encourages philanthropic support
to enhance quality of life for residents at Madonna
Towers and Madonna Meadows. Specifically,
Madonna Living Community Foundation:

I Encourages estate plans
I Sponsors fundraising efforts to enlist
philanthropic support.
