• Rehabilitated Lexington Park Station in 1975.
• Master of Science degree from University of Maryland in

• President, Bay District VFD, 1980-85 and 1987-2007
• Appointed in 1981 to St. Mary’s County Planning
Commission and chairperson 1990-96
• MSFA Training Committee 1985 - 92 & 1996 -2000
• Charter member of Maryland Fire Service Personnel
Qualification Board, 1985 to present
• Appointed to Maryland Fire & Rescue Education Training
Commission –1985 to 2001
• Opened the California Station in December 1993.
• Became a grandfather in June 1997 with twin grand son’s
Michael & Jonathan
• Retired in 1997 from the Federal Government w/ 38 years of
service and was presented with the Navy’s Distinguish
Civilian Service Award
• Currently employed with L-3 Com, a systems engineering
company
