2. INTRODUCTION
India is rapidly moving towards the direction of
Digitization. After the proclamation of
Demonetization by PM Mr. Narender Modi on 08
November 2016 it created a massive expansion of
opportunity for digital payment in India.
Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has taken systematic
steps to promote digital payments in India and
created National Payment Corporation of India
(NPCI) as an umbrella organization to develop low
