2. What is it?
For my service learning project I decided to go
with my own idea that I presented in class.
Basically, the idea is that I, and other people
from the class, would make a bunch of fun
and inspirational posters. Then we would put
the posters up around the community so
people would see them and smile.
3. The Goal
The goal of this project was, and still is, to bring
happiness and confidence to anyone and
everyone who sees the posters around the
community. If they’re having a bad day,
running late for school, or just down in the
dumps…the signs would lift their spirits.
4. Who benefits?
Everyone! My project was not designed for one
particular organization or group. It was meant
for everyone in the community!
5. What I Put On the Posters
I love you!
You are beautiful!
Have a GREAT day!
It gets better!
You are loved!!
SMILE!
Someone cares!
AND MORE….!! <3
6. How I Used Critical Thinking
I used critical thinking when I was deciding how,
when, and where to place photos. Plus
deciding what would be universally nice to
say.
9. What I learned
I learned a lot of new things when I was doing
this project. I learned that it’s hard coming up
with inspirational quotes that would pertain
to almost everyone. I also learned more about
Toledo and Sylvania (and TECHS I guess) by
roaming around and putting up posters. It
made me feel better to be nice to others
10. The End!
It made me feel better to be nice to others and I
honestly hope that they like the posters I and
my friends made for them!
