Something wonderful happened to me this year. I had the realization that some things
simply take time. It’s not because it didn't happen that it wont happen. I decided to trust
the efforts I put in 2015 and to take my power back. I claim victory over the
wonderful guidance I received throughout the year and I will trust in divine timing. Im a
passionate gardener and I understood that some things simply didn't blossom yet but
I still trust that the seeds will do their magic.
During the holidays, I went to one of my favourite spots in Montreal: The Botanical Garden of
Montreal. It was quite refreshing and I left inspired. May this soothing video and photos
uplift your spirits and be a reminder to allow seeds to blossom and to not forget that after
winter, comes spring!

and writing tips to get you started!
Creating original and branded content to share with your networks is
now a must to attract potential customers and keep current ones
loyal. Here are some tips to help you get started.
Set an intention
Establishing a clear intention sets the tone of your message, helps
you discern which content you share and shapes the connection.
When I write, I put on top of the page my intention: give tips to
brokers to help them stand out online and showcase their services
to readers in a way that brings value and converts.
One reader at a time
In order to keep the focus, write for a particular person. It also eases
the discomfort you may have to write. By keeping the reader in mind
it helps to create a clear message that his tailor-made to that
specific target.
Simple works
We are used to our daily jargons but not necessarily the people who
read us. Storytelling is an effective way to communicate and explain
difficult concepts. It allows the reader to see in their mind the
concepts and become familiar with them.

Brainstorming
There are many brainstorming techniques. In a brainstorming session, there are no bad
ideas. Let your imagination flow. When we give free rein to our ideas, we create space for
breakthroughs and Aha Moments!
Do your research
Read about it and find relevant information. Adding sources to our text gives it credibility.
Map out the story
One trick I use when I'm writing is to write the main ideas in bold letters first and then write
the content underneath each idea. This creates a structure for my text and breaks down the
ideas. I can later rearrange the order of ideas to create an intuitive flow for the reader.
Share
Spread the news. For content marketing to work it must be read. Therefore, find ways to
increase the accessibility to our content. Share your content on different platforms to give it
a chance to be read. To maximize the reach you can join communities that share your
interests on Facebook, LinkedIn or Twitter.
Review & adjust
After you published, don't forget to go back to see if there is any engagement on your post
and answer questions if there are any. Take a look at the statistics that are available in the
platform there is a wealth of information such as: What is the average age of your

audience? Which device do they use to connect with your content? Where do they live?
This information allows you to adjust and create more content that gets results.
Create a routine
I came to the conclusion that procrastinating takes longer than the writing itself. It's simple,
just start typing and come back to it every day. Create an environment that invites your
creativity or take your computer and go to the nearest cafe. Setting writing goals is also
effective is establishing a routine.
Tools
The editorial calendar is an indispensable tool to see at a glance the upcoming content.
Success in social media requires consistency. Online tools such as Hootsuite and Buffer
keep you connected with your audience even when you are away from your desk and
enjoying a well-deserved vacation.
Turn on the Love
Be of service. Enjoy the process. Be authentic. This is reflected in your writing. Content is
King.

SEO is the ensemble of the online actions that you take to help customers find you on the
web (with the exception of paid traffic).
Your blog posts, your social media shares, your website, your copy, all that you publish

Therefore, we can deduct the following:
• The better you can answer a searcher's questions and solve their problems, the
quicker the search engines will connect your content with the searcher.
• The more precise and relevant your content, the better chances that you will
have the right person reading your content.
• The more consistent you are in collaborating with these search engine robots, the
easier you make their lives. In return, they can help you get higher on the organic rankings.
Keep in mind that they have preferences and they like consistency.
It's key to keep in mind that you are dealing with algorithms and robots. You want to tag
and speak their language as much as possible in order for your content to be recognized.
Although most of these actions you already take in your digital marketing strategy, some of
these questions might lead you to refresh your pages and update your content.
The following questions can help you increase your organic rankings and
profit your SEO:
• Have you researched the keywords your audience uses to ask their questions?

In 2016, focus on goals that
matter: Create an Authentic Business Plan.
In my previous life, I was a financial services advisor for over a decade. I helped hundreds
of people achieve what mattered the most to them. I was tied by sales objectives and I
couldn't always offer adequate solutions nor spend the time necessary to really help
transform my clients lives. Although it's a career that was fruitful and I'm very grateful for
the work ethics I developed during those years, it left me unsatisfied. I really wanted to
make a difference in people’s lives. I knew I had to get creative. I created a tool that
integrated all the different goals that we have in different areas of our lives. Although
planning with numbers can be very useful, some things simply cannot work without a new
belief system. The Authentic Business Plan integrates all parts and is designed to see
the bigger picture.
After all, isn’t that what we are? We are integrated human beings with thoughts, emotions
and legs to take the steps necessary towards those goals. We have fears and thoughts that
no longer serve us. Our goals get accomplished when we pull thru. When we shift our
beliefs and perceptions. Everything is interconnected and functions together.
Why not do the same with your business plan?
Your business plan has to motivate you.
Excite you. Expand you. Cheer you on!
After working in the Financial Services industry for so long, here’s what I learned: don't
attach any of your goals with numbers. Thinking that you need 25 000$ to achieve a goal is
misleading and limiting. Focus instead on Prosperity and Abundance.
How much is that anyway? 100$? 10 000$? 1 000 000$?
Focus on what you want and on how you want to feel.
I want to pay all of my bills with ease and always have money left over to take care of
myself and of my loved ones.
I want to have more than enough money to accomplish my desires.
I want to have all the resources available when its time to take action.
I want to have all the support required to move along with my goals.
I want my income streams to be fluid and to allow me to live the life of my dreams.
I want to feel safe at all times.
The questions in the Authentic Business Plan are designed to help you get clear on what
you really want and to focus on goals that really matter.

First, get clear on the why.
• What’s your intention? (this allows you to detach from the outcome. For example: Doing
work I Love.)

• What’s your mission? (mission statement or personal slogan)
• What’s your mantra? (your personal anthem?) (your rally song?)
• Who is your source of inspiration?
• What are your affirmations? (What thoughts are supporting your vision?)
• What are your values?
• What are your spiritual goals?
• What are your personal goals?
• What are your business goals?
• Who’s on your side?
• Who’s not?
• Who makes up your spiritual team?
• What are 3 truths about you?
• What are your objectives in 1 year, 5 years, 25 years?
Now surrender it all to a bigger and higher force than yourself. I personally have written on
the bottom of my plan: All this or something better God.
