World Hunger Week will take place from October 11-16 with various events around Adams County, Pennsylvania to raise awareness and funds to address global hunger. Events include a screening at Gettysburg College on October 11, gleaning at Peters Orchards on October 12, volunteering at South Central Community Action Programs on October 13, collecting donations at the Adams County Farmers Market on October 14, a discussion at Gettysburg College on October 15, and a screening at the Adams County Agricultural and Natural Resources Center on October 16. The goal is to discuss challenges of global hunger and find local solutions to help address this worldwide issue.
