EUROPEAN UNION AND SECURITY ISSUES

Course Overview and Assessment: Students are assessed through their 10 - 15 min. seminar presentation (25%), a 6-
page essay on any topic other than the one allocated to present due in the last teaching week of December (25%).
Given that there is no exam for this course, 60% of the assessment comes from students’ constructive contributions to
the seminar discussions; as such, seminar preparation is essential. Students are encouraged to use audiovisual aids for
their presentation (handouts/maps/power point presentations, etc.).
