2. Connected Care, created
specifically to meet the
needs of the Care
Industry, gives relatives a
window into the lives of
their loved ones in care
and provides residents
with heartwarming video
cards from family.
3. 3 Key objectives:
- To ease resident loneliness
- To reassure relatives of their loved one’s well being
- To alleviate pressures on care home staff
Connected Care is a secure web platform on which resident’s relatives can
access photos, videos and other information of their loved one to check in
on their well being and activities without the need to contact care home staff
or have the resident use overwhelming technology.
• The relative can rest assured that their loved one is safe and happy by viewing the
secure web page at any time.
• The care home staff can very easily incorporate the service into their rounds by
taking photos and videos and uploading files using a simple link on a smart device
such as a tablet.
• The resident receives a video card filled with videos and photos of love and cherished
memories from their family and friends.

7. 60% of UK care home residents receive no visitors, even prior to the
Covid crisis (Age UK)
Feelings of loneliness greatly increased the chances of developing dementia
(Care Docs)
Over 20% of people live more than an hour from elderly relatives.
Social support has been shown to moderate the negative effects of chronic
illness and speed recovery from medical procedures
Connected Care does not replace the need or experience of face to
face visits but it does help to ease the guilt, worry and helplessness
felt by so many people with aging relatives that they cannot visit as
often as they’d like. It also enables residents to see their families,
relive memories and keep up to date via videos until they can next
seem them in person.

10. Q: Our staff have very little time
A: Care Home staff spend a lot of time liaising with family members. ConnectedCare will
reduce the need for as much communication and give busy staff one place to keep and
present information on a resident’s wellbeing.
Q: How long does it take to set up?
A: A resident page can be created in just a few hours.
Q: What if a resident is unwell or doesn’t want to be photographed/filmed?
A: There is no minimum requirement, family members will be made aware that residents will
only have photos or videos when they want to.
Q: Is there a minimum commitment for the monthly payments?
A: No you can cancel at anytime, we just ask for 30 days notice.
Q: Our staff don’t like complicated technology
A: The platform is extremely easy to use, just a few clicks. Even so we provide full tech support
and guidance.
Q: Why would we use this instead of Whatsapp or messenger or our facebook page?
A: ConnectedCare is primarily and secure and private service to enable relatives a window into
the everyday life of their loved on. Other platforms are neither secure or private. In addition
there is no account set up required or complicated scheduling. All videos are also formatted
by our software so that they are easy to upload and will be optimised for viewing.
