Jesus is a Venusian
and other tall tales
  from the Tor onto
 Aetherius Society.
     By Karl Mamer
What is the Aetherius
          society?
The Aetherius Society is a UFO based religion
that was founded in 1955 by the late George
King and operates in the United States,
Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New
Zealand and three African nations. It claimed
about 650 members as of 1993. The UK UFO
News suggested, at one point, it had 10,000
people on its UK mailing list.

Contactee
 Contactees are persons who claim to have experienced contact with
extraterrestrials. Contactees have typically reported that they were
given messages or profound wisdom by extraterrestrial beings.
These claimed encounters are often described as ongoing, but some
contactees claim to have had as few as a single encounter.
                                                               -- Wikipedia

 “No serious investigator has ever been very worried by the claims of
    the ‘contactees’.”
                                            -- Ufologists Jacques Vallee
Who was George King?
 Born in the UK in 1919

 Family had a history of occult beliefs

 George King belonged to a number of
    occult groups in the 1930s

 Former taxi driver

 Practiced yoga

 Claimed, while sitting in his London apartment, a being called
“Master Aetherius” told him to “prepare himself to be the voice of an
    interplanetary parliament”

 Why King and not Einstein? King had achieved such an advanced
yogic state that he (and he alone) was worthy of being contacted by
    “Cosmic Intelligences”.

          Venus
What does the Aetherius
       society believe?
 Cosmic Intelligences:
    Aliens from Mars, Venus,
    and other planets in our
    solar system
 Jesus is from Venus
 You can charge batteries
    with prayers and then
    release this stored
    prayer
 Intelligent fish on the
    planet Garouche are out
    to get us
Bad Astronomy
 The Asteroid Belt used to be a
    planet called Maldek but
    destroyed by nuclear experiments

 There’s a Planet X waystation for
souls, but we can’t see it for
    various reasons

 There’s life on Venus and Mars
The Asteroid Belt was a
            planet
1) The matter in the asteroid belt is about 4% of the
   moon’s mass. Nowhere near a planet’s size.
2) There’s not enough mass to have accreted into a
   planet.
3) The gravity from Jupiter prevents the matter from
   further accretion.
4) Asteroid chemistry is inconsistent with having once
been part of a planet. The asteroids have different
chemical composition, which should all be the same if
they came from the same body.
5) The amount of energy required to completely destroy a
   planet.

Why people like the
asteroid belt being a former
           planet
Maldek vs Mysteroid
 The Mysterians: A movie is about aliens who came from a planet that was in
the current asteroid belt but destroyed by nuclear weapons!
 Maldek Transmission to King April 7, 1960.
 The Mysterians had its US release May 1959.
 King moved to American June 1959
Planet X
Life on Mars/Venus
 Venus has trees
 Mars has buildings, vegetation
    belts, and radioactive “soil”
Irrefutable Evidence
 ir·ref·u·ta·ble
    Impossible to refute or
    disprove

 re·fute
    1. To prove to be false or
    erroneous; overthrow by
    argument or proof
    2. To deny the accuracy or
    truth of

Summing up
 “I have always wondered why religionists will
jeopardize a perfectly good message by trying
to prove something totally unrelated and
usually unnecessary about their faith. It’s as
if they’re implying their values are not
persuasive on their own, therefore they must
compel us to submit via use of proofs.”
                                    - My friend Terry
But you’re never going
  to convince them!

 How do we know what we know?
 When you stop learning, stop
    debating
