2. The GPA Former Players Group would like to invite you to the third annual
GPA Former Players Lunch which will take place in the Hogan Suite,
Croke Park at 2.30pm on Saturday September 19, 2015.The Event
will feature the announcement of the 2015 GPA Lifetime
Achievement Awards to two former legends of our games.
Proceeds raised from the event will go to the Players
Benevolent Fund to support players who are experiencing
serious difficulties in their lives. Over the past 12 months, the
GPA has provided services and programmes to former county
hurlers and footballers worth over €100,000. These supports
include back to education bursaries, career
development, counselling services, medical
assistance and hardship support.
