  1. Virtual Wallet?These programs allow you to store replicas of the items you carry in your physical wallet, such as your credit cards, bank cards, gift cards, memberships, and even your photos. They allow you to store other important information, such as serial numbers and registration IDs for all your card programs. Virtual implies electronic, which is not new. The initial versions are on your computer.The next evolution is the virtual wallet technology on your mobile device in the form of banking. This technology is very recently launched. The US market is ahead of Canada. US consumers engage in even more purposes for their mobile devices. The rate of consumers downloading “apps” to their cell phones is increasing substantially. In a 9 month period, 3 billion downloads of apps have occurred. Consider how long it took to get to emails on your cell phone as mainstream. The rate of accepting, and using as mainstream, new virtual applications is increasing exponentially.PNC Bank - US 6th largest bank, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. - PNC has seen an increase of 130 accounts daily of the Virtual Wallet accounts since its launch July 2008. Paypal Virtual Terminal– send payment via mobile phone, treating the phone of a company owner like a point of sale terminal.Leading edge new is the marketing focus of the virtual wallet compared to the banking/ money transfer focus. This is what MIXTO is focusing on. We have partnered with a company called MyDigiWallet that executes the virtual programs and features on mobile devices. MyDigiWallet provides the back-end system architecture. MIXTO introduces and engages clients to virtual marketing as an enhancement to our existing traditional corporate fulfillment and card programs.
  2. Corporations can push any information into their digital card – held in the user’s digital wallet. For ex. investment information or retirement benefits. Include answers to user’s questions, like how much room do they have in their 401K?Link clients directly to their advisers. If advisers change the card link would change automatically, sending a notification. Individual linked relationships can be set up or by a territory, area code, etc. Link the client to the company fund performance site – accessed via their cell phone. Provide a summary of their portfolio with or without the dollar values.Check statements, tracking performance, advertise, cross sell, upsell.A client could prepare their evaluation of goals before they connect with an advisor by clicking on the appropriate link within the corporate digital card.Upcoming seminars can be pushed to client groups with a Google map link. Enable RSVP functionality and get responses.These features stay in one place on a user’s phone compared to email that moves down as more are received. Not having to scroll through and read multiple emails are big advantages to this medium.
