Kaila Thomas has experience working with horses through various internships and jobs. She groomed and prepared horses for lessons at Camino Real Farms in Temecula, California, and learned how to transition a grand prix horse to equitation. At Colorado State University, she learned how to start and prepare colts for sale. Her internship at Solomon Farm in South Dakota included managing horses' daily care. She also played varsity volleyball at Colorado State University, developing teamwork, organization, and time management skills. She is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Equine Science from Colorado State University and anticipates graduating in December 2015.
